Helen began her insurance career at BrokerTeam Insurance in 2012. In 2020, she became a Branch Director when she opened the BrokerTeam North York Branch.
What Makes Helen Excellent
In 2020 amidst the pandemic, Helen embarked on a significant undertaking by spearheading the opening of the North York Branch for BrokerTeam. As remote work became the norm, she recognized the heightened importance of health and fostering connections within her team. Her holistic approach paved the way for the branch to achieve remarkable success, generating $11M in Gross Written Premiums (GWP) over three years. Participating in a 10km run in support of the Toronto Zoo served as a capstone to Helen’s commitment to fostering camaraderie and promoting a healthier lifestyle within the team.
Currently, Helen is focused on restructuring BrokerTeam’s North York branch, with an exciting opportunity on the horizon—establishing her own brokerage. This has been a long-held dream of Helen’s and she’s eager to lead her team towards even greater success.

Red Door Family Shelter—since opening its doors in 1982, the Red Door Family Shelter has provided emergency shelter and support for women and children affected by domestic abuse, families experiencing a housing crisis and refugee claimants with nowhere else to turn.
