Jaimie is the Chair of NFP Canada’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee.  

What Makes Jaimie Excellent 

Jaimie is an active volunteer dedicated to advancing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in her community. She actively participates in several of NFP’s Business Resource Groups, serves as a member of NFP’s Community Donation Committee and holds the position of Canadian ambassador for NFP’s Pride+ Business Resource Group. She recently joined the NFP (International) DEIB Advisory Board and assumed the role of Chair for NFP’s DEIB Committee in Canada, spearheading efforts to establish operational protocols, cultivate partnerships and align with organizations sharing mutual values. 

Jaimie also serves as the Vice President of the London Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIBA) where she directs funds toward charitable organizations with strong DEI initiatives. She’s actively engaged in planning LIBA’s upcoming Quarterly Meeting in support of Pride month. Throughout the past year, she’s organized various events to promote inclusivity and social responsibility including a panel for LGBTQ2S+ community members and allies within the insurance industry and a paint event commemorating Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Charity of Choice 

Atlohsa Family Healing Services—a charity that aids the local Indigenous community by providing mental wellness, housing support and anti-human trafficking programs. They also focus on education, advocacy and restorative justice.
